Bennett’s Newborn Session

Welcome Bennett’s newborn session to the photography blog! My goodness, this handsome little man made me wait quite awhile to meet him! Three weeks after his due date we were able to have his newborn session. He was totally worth the wait and did not disappoint! (Not to worry, newborn sessions are flexible! Sometimes little ones come in their own time and in dramatic fashion!)

Bennett rocked his poses on the beanbag, which are always my favorite! Sweet, clean, and timeless! Grey is always a great option for boys and the taupe color from Freebird Prop Shoppe looks amazing with his skin tone!

The studio has had such a string of little boys lately…I wonder where are the little girls are this summer? Maybe the fall will belong to the girls? Boy or girl does not matter to me, I am thankful for all the snuggles. Give me all the babies!

After a break for milk (which is completely normal during a newborn session), we moved onto props. Bennett was so happy swaddled and fell right back asleep again. It is so easy to do a few set ups quickly when they are swaddled. What an easy baby!

His momma loved this bonnet with the ears and I mean honestly, who doesn’t love a baby bear? I know I sure do!

We ended his newborn session with family photos. The last image of the silhouette is currently my most requested pose for family photos with newborns. So simple and sweet!
