A few personal photos

Today I wanted to share with you a few personal photos of this crazy time in our lives. I know that not everyone has had the same experience as us. This is just a glimpse into our lives.

After a month and a half of staying at home, we are starting to adjust to this new and hopefully temporary way of life. Virtual hangouts, Google Meets, longer hair, and A LOT of together time is starting to feel more normal than not.

I’m not going to lie, a few months ago, it felt like life was in high gear and it felt like a break might not ever happen. Never in my wildest dreams did I think this was going to happen. After we settled down from the ‘I cannot believe this” and “how will this affect our livelihoods” (and many more thoughts and anxiety), we have settled into the thought that this is the gift of time.

Our kids are only little once, and we have been given the gift of something you can never get back. Sure, life will eventually go on after this. But our kids are only little once. There will be a time when we can make more money, work longer hours, be more productive, etc.

And as rosy as I just made this time sound, we have had our fair share of messiness, battles over school work, and boredom. I mean we all have our moments right?

Our dogs, however have been living their best life. Other than bath time, it is a great time to be a dog. They are going to be so sad when we get on with our normal routines.

This last one was a fun double exposure done in camera. While I miss my clients, especially the babies, it has been fun to document my family and focus on our personal photos.

If you are interested in some quick tips on how to take better photos of your family, you can get the guide here. This guide will walk you through five simple steps to taking better photographs of your kids today. You can use your iPhone or DSLR camera that has been collecting dust.
