Welcome this sweet boy’s first birthday cake smash to the Cleveland baby photographer blog today. Oh my goodness, it seems like just yesterday this little guy was in studio for his newborn session! His momma’s maternity session was also one of my favorites and his cake smash did not disappoint. I have so loved watching him grow from his momma’s belly to a one year old!
In the last few months, I have transitioned to a more lifestyle approach in studio and love the more relaxed images that it produces. This little guy looks so cozy in every set and oh my did he warm up quickly! So much personality! And of course Miss Megan really got him going. All the one year olds adore her- she is our real life Miss Rachel.
Momma has her hair and make up done by Nichole from N Lang Artistry. I cannot recommend Nichole enough- she does a wonderful job pampering the mommas and makes sure you feel confident in front of the camera. Also, she is a great human and we just love having her in studio!
There is nothing more classic for a first birthday cake smash than a few balloons! This new high chair makes your little one feel right at home- no more chasing your baby around with frosting everywhere. (Yes, we speak from experience.) He dove right into this adorable cake from Honey Bee Bakery and had a blast.
What’s better than a bath in a cute little tub after some cake? Goodness, the smiles all around. He really did steal our hearts. Happy first birthday to you, little man!
