Cake smashes with little ones that I have been with for their first year feel a bit like graduation. It is bittersweet! It is amazing to watch these babies grow, the first year is such an incredible transformation.
I will admit that simple, light colors are my jam and this is defiantly outside my norm. This Mr. Onederful cake smash theme was so much fun to put together. It really stretched my creativity and I loved how it turned out.
How perfect is this cake from HoneyBee Bakery in Medina Ohio? They do a wonderful job providing the cakes for our cake smashes.
A bath is necessary after cake! Babies always have fun splashing in the tub and it makes for some great photos!
After our Mr. Onederful cake smash was over, we did a few more sets. Since this little guy was with me for his sitter session as well, we switched it up and did some fun sets for his first birthday. Isn’t he just darling in this aviator hat??
Some balloons and a car always make for a fun ending to the first birthday celebration. Mr. Onederful, you sure were a joy to photograph. I hope the next year brings you as much joy as you have brought me.
