I first picked up a camera when my daughters were babies because I was completely obsessed with documenting every little moment. Like so many parents, I quickly realized how quickly those tiny stages pass. What started as a way to preserve memories of my own girls grew into a passion for helping other families capture this fleeting season of life.
Why I Photograph Families
I photograph families because I know firsthand how quickly children grow and change. The quiet snuggles, tiny fingers, and joyful chaos of everyday life are moments that deserve to be remembered. Capturing these stages as families grow is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.
My Style
My style is light, airy, and timeless, with a focus on natural connection and simple beauty. Soft colors and gentle light keep the attention on the people and the emotions in the image. The goal is photographs that feel just as beautiful years from now as they do today.
How It Started
A few Things about me
• I love running — I’m definitely not the fastest, but it’s one of my favorite ways to clear my head and recharge.
• Most of my free time is spent with my daughters, usually running them between sports and cheering from the sidelines these days.
• We also share our home with two lovable basset hounds and Darla, our sweet therapy dog, who keeps life interesting and full of snuggles.
• I believe photographs belong on your walls, not just on your phone. There’s something special about walking past a memory every day.
• Helping families preserve their memories is one of the most meaningful parts of what I do.
• I’m never far from a good iced coffee.
• And I’m not afraid to make a little fool of myself behind the camera to get a real smile — baby talk is definitely one of my specialties.
