Kara’s Newborn Session
Welcome Kara’s newborn session to the blog! I’ve had quite a run of baby girls lately, all of which have had the most amazing head of dark hair and lashes! This little lady kept the run going strong! How gorgeous are these two girls?
I met Kara’s momma at Wittenberg University where we were sorority sisters. She is the sweetest and her girls really take after her. I love that she drives an hour to come see me, it really is quite an honor to document her girls as they grow up! Kara’s older sister’s newborn session is on the blog, which you can see here.
Sadie has been so good for her sessions with me, she was an absolute doll for her sister’s newborn session. She is always so calm and such a good listener!
As fair and blonde as Sadie is, Kara is quite the opposite! All that dark hair! Goodness, these girls! Daddy is for sure in trouble when these girls get older! How would you ever say no to these sweet faces?? I know I would not!
Ah, family and sibling photos are so important to me! I love how tiny newborns look in comparison to older siblings and in their parents’s arms. This backdrop was hand painted by me, I love how dreamy it turned out. Hopefully this makes their Christmas card this year!
Many thanks to Kara’s momma for assisting me with this pose. Her hands never left her- we took two images and put them together in photoshop for the final image. Safety is so important during a newborn session!
