I know the pandemic has made us all a bit weary. One year olds are no exception. By their first birthday pictures babies seem to be the most confused by the masks that we wear in studio and since this is the time stranger danger really sets in, everything is amplified.
Miss L wasn’t so sure about the studio or me in a mask but we pulled out our bag of tricks to make sure that she was entertained. After all, what one year old doesn’t love bubbles?
Oh hey girl, hey! There’s that personality we are looking for! All the little details make first birthday pictures so special. Babies change and grow so quickly!
When in doubt, break out the puffs! I always recommend bringing a favorite finger food to your first birthday pictures, just in case little ones need a distraction. It sure did the trick for Miss L! How adorable is she in these new studio wardrobe pieces from Cora and Violet?
This high chair is where a lot of babies feel like home. After all, sitting in a high chair is a familiar feeling for the wee little ones! Miss L took a break from first birthday pictures to have a little snack.
