Welcome Miss B’s first birthday photos to the blog! Ah, this little love stole my heart a year ago at her newborn session. It seems like yesterday she snoozed away her session and gave me the best cuddles. Fast forward a year later and well, let’s say there was absolutely no snoozing or snuggling. We did, however, eat cake, take a bath, and chase her all of the studio. Miss B isn’t walking, she’s running y’all. Cutest little nugget I ever did chase, that’s for sure.
For her first birthday photos, we did a bee themed cake smash. Well, it is super fitting given her nickname. And Medina bees. Let’s just say we all need some sunshine in our lives this time of the year in Ohio and Miss B certainly did give us some sunshine. Red hair included.
We had the best time getting this set put together, crafting (when we have the theme early enough) is our favorite! Megan put together these incredible bee hives and let’s just say I can do anything that involves a hot glue gun and flowers. The result? One of my favorite sets to date. Such a happy little set!
If you eat cake face first, you are my kind of gal. Miss B, I knew we would get each other. I swear she posed perfectly, cake topper in hand and all. How adorable is this cake from A Cupcake A Day? The honey dripping off the side is amazing.
