Welcome my adorable nephew’s airplane cake smash to the Akron Cake Smash photographer blog! Today is his first birthday and what better way to celebrate than with cake? Seriously, you guys, I cannot believe he is one already! Time really does fly! It seems like just yesterday we were waiting to find out if he was a boy or a girl.
I love looking back at his newborn photos. He was the first baby I photographed post lockdown and my goodness, was he a welcome little ray of sunshine. My girls are obsessed with him! And why wouldn’t they be? He’s their very own, real life baby doll.
When we were discussing his first birthday theme, my husband suggested an airplane cake smash. Since his dad is a pilot, it is not only made sense, but is super adorable as well. Maybe I should keep that husband of mine with his good ideas. 😉

There is definitely a sweet tooth that runs in our family! He kept saying “mmmmmm” while eating the cake. So cute!
